Everything happens inside your browser, on your own device. Your score and audio are never uploaded.
Your files are read into this tab’s memory. Nothing goes to a server, and closing the tab clears them. The only thing fetched from outside the site is a Google Font, and only when you pick one for the credits.
PDF.js, from Mozilla, draws each page. Your changes are a list of steps on top of the original PDF, which is never touched. Export PDF builds a new file from that list.
Click the file’s name at the top to open it. Make your changes, then press Done to apply them.
Drag pages to reorder them. Click a page to leave it out.
Whitens the paper and removes specks. Revert puts the pages back.
Straightens crooked scans.
Finds the music and draws a frame around it. Auto sets the frames. Manual lets you drag them yourself.
Visually softens parts of a page to draw less attention. Draw a box over sections to visually soften them, such as the extra music around a repeat on a duplicated page. Drag a box’s edges to adjust it, and press its X to remove it. Revert removes every box.
Cuts a two-page scan into two pages.
Fits every page to a paper size.
Prints your text across the ticked pages.
Your browser reads the audio, and the waveform is measured on your device. What you hear while editing is what you export. Long recordings are kept in your browser’s private file storage, so they don’t have to fit in memory.
Click the file’s name at the top to open it. Make your changes, then press Done to apply them. Sound runs through the modules from top to bottom. A lit module is active. Bypass takes out only the open module.
Learn noise from a stretch with only hiss in it. Auto finds that stretch for you. Manual lets you pick it.
Press Draw, then mark a Box, Band, or Moment on the spectrogram. Heal fills it in from the sound around it. Reduce turns it down.
Bands can be Bell, Low shelf, High shelf, High-pass, Low-pass, or Notch. EQ Match fits bands to the difference between your recording and a reference.
Width makes the stereo image wider or narrower.
Gain changes the volume. Normalize sets a target loudness. The Limiter keeps peaks under the ceiling, so nothing clips.
Eases the sound in at the start and out at the end.
Measures another recording’s tone and loudness, then moves your EQ, width, and level toward it.
Each turn is drawn in 3D by your graphics card. Drag a turn into the next one and that one gets pushed along. Hold Shift and click to select several at once. Turns to end packs the turns after the playhead against the end of the video. Add page turn places them in order. In Single page layout, each page gets its own turn, centered in the frame. Style chooses between Turn, Slide, and Cut.
Your browser renders and encodes every frame. Unless you pick Real-time recording, the sound is stored losslessly (24-bit) and the video goes into a MOV file. Real-time recording compresses the sound and saves an MP4 or WebM file. On Automatic, if fast export isn’t available, the video is recorded in real time instead.
Settings stay in this browser. Import / Export saves your settings to a small text file you can load back later.
